"We love the mountains, The Sierras in California, the Cascades in Washington or the Green Mountains in Vermont. We love them all." Mitzi and family moved back to Stowe in 1990 purchasing The Inn at Turner Mill at the foot of Mt. Mansfield. After 10 years in Seattle, they decided that a small mountain community was where they wanted to raise their boys. The Inn provided them with the opportunity to not only ‘visit with the world’, but to earn a living in a seasonal resort town. The activities and sports centered around the outdoors in combination with the wonderful people gave them the mountain life they'd been longing for.
